‘evadeflow’ (“Your anagrams are showing, Doctor”) is a thirteen-year veteran of the visual simulation industry who is constantly doing battle with Big Balls of Mud written in C++. His favorite weapon in the fight is Python, since it allows him to quickly write a suite of tests that verify the behavior of some horrid C++ component, then slide in a more palatable replacement while no one is even looking. It almost feels like cheating.

evade lives in Royal Oak, Michigan, just northwest of Detroit. When not refactoring stovepipe systems, he enjoys dog scootering, geocaching, puzzling over the mysteries of Reason and Live, yelling at kids to get off his lawn, and fashioning stylish tin foil hats to shield himself from secret government brain rays.  (He’s in a cover band,  too, though he usually won’t admit it…)
